A PERFECT CIRCLE Name New Album, Announce Club Tour Dates

A PERFECT CIRCLE have set "Thirteenth Step" as the title for their sophomore album, due out on September 16 through Virgin Records.

"Thirteenth Step" is the follow-up to 2000's "Mer de Noms", which debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 1.4 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. It spawned the singles "Judith" (No. 4 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks airplay chart, No. 5 Modern Rock Tracks), "3 Libras" (No. 12 Modern/Mainstream Rock Tracks), and "The Hollow" (No. 14 Mainstream Rock, No. 17 Modern Rock).

"Thirteenth Step" is the band's first set with new bassist Jeordie White (ex-MARILYN MANSON), formerly known as Twiggy Ramirez. White replaces Paz Lenchantin, who joined ZWAN. A PERFECT CIRCLE member Troy Van Leeuwen played on the new album but will not be touring with the group, due to commitments with QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.

A PERFECT CIRCLE areled by TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan, former TOOL guitar tech Billy Howerdel and drummer Josh Freese.

In other news, the group will be kicking off a headlining tour of clubs at the end of the month.
