AXAMENTA Record New Promo CD

Belgium's AXAMENTA, the former band of current EPICA bassist Yves Huts, spent time in the recording studio this past weekend recording three songs for a promo release, which the band describe as "16 minutes of neo-classical horror-metal." The effort, which is scheduled to be mixed and mastered within the next few weeks, will be "unlike anything [anyone's] heard before from AXAMENTA, a dramatic style shift," according to a post on their web site.

The songtitles set to appear on the upcoming promo CD are as follows:

01. Demons Shelter Within
02. The Midnight Grotesque (A Raven-Cloaked Demise)
03. Ravager 1.6.6.3.

The artwork will be done by Fadetonoir.com. The CD will most likely not be released commercially and will therefore only be used for promotional purposes.

Upcoming AXAMENTA tour dates:

Jan. 02 - Frontfest Frontline – Gent, BEL
Feb. 18 - Le Manoir – Namen, BEL
Apr. 03 - Hof Ten Weyngaert – Brussels, BEL
