EPICA Enter Dutch Album Chart At No. 12

According to a post on EPICA's official web site, the band's sophomore album, "Consign to Oblivion", entered the official Dutch album chart at position No. 12 in its first week of release.

The follow-up to 2003's "The Phantom Agony", "Consign to Oblivion" is available on Transmission Records.

EPICA have been confirmed as the headliners of this year's edition of ProgPower Europe festival, set to take place October 1-2 in Baarlo, The Netherlands. Also scheduled to appear at the festival are PAIN OF SALVATION, GREEN CARNATION, NOVEMBERS DOOM and ORPHANED LAND, among others.

EPICA issued their first DVD, "We Will Take You With Us / 2 Meter Sessies", last September. The disc came in a limited-edition deluxe ECO-Book (containing a 40-page booklet) with an additional bonus CD containing all of the "2 Meter Sessies" recordings.
