Long Island, New York death metallers INTERNAL BLEEDING have parted ways with guitarist and founding member Chris Pervelis. "There are many reasons for his leaving, but none of them have anything to do with musical differences, personality differences or any other soap-opera related [bullshit]," the band write on their official web site.
Says Chris, "I need to concentrate on my business [Pervelis is part-owner of an advertising agency—ed.] as well as my political writing, my muscle-car addiction and a million other things. I am going to miss [INTERNAL BLEEDING] tremendously, but I will be involved with the band on a day to day basis, helping with graphics, lyrics, philosophical frameworks, and yes, even once in a while, music."
INTERNAL BLEEDING's forthcoming album, "Hatefuel", will contain much of Chris' music as well as some of his lyrics.
Chris will have a permanent email address (email@example.com), so people can still contact him.
A replacement guitarist will be announced soon.
