HELLYEAH Lands At No. 9 On BILLBOARD Chart
HELLYEAH's self-titled debut album has sold just under 45,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart. Meanwhile, Long Island post-hardcore act FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES shifted almost 11,000 copies of "Holding a Wolf by the Ears" to land at No. 73.
A three-minute clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of HELLYEAH's "You Wouldn't Know" video has been posted at YouTube. The clip was shot on February 25, 2007 with director Nathan Cox in the parking lot of the Dallas, Texas stripclub owned by former PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN and current HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. The finished "You Wouldn't Know" video is available for viewing at this location.
HELLYEAH is the new band featuring Vinnie Paul Abbott alongside members of MUDVAYNE and NOTHINGFACE. The group will hit the road beginning around May 20 with dates in the U.S. before heading over to Australia and making its way to England for an appearance at this year's Download festival.
HELLYEAH will take part in this summer's Family Values Tour. The official announcement was made March 26 via VirtualKorn.MTV.com. Also taking part in the tour are EVANESCENCE, ATREYU, TRIVIUM and FLYLEAF, alongside headliners KORN.
