Korea's SOYOROCK 2002 Cancelled — Again

Korea's Soyorock 2002 (a.k.a. World Rock) festival, which was set to include appearances by HALFORD, DIO, GAMMA RAY and RAGE, has reportedly been cancelled for a second time, according to a Noise Records newsletter that was circulated yesterday, September 27th. No reason was given for the cancellation.

Soyorock 2002 was originally scheduled to take place on August 15-18, but was eventually postponed to October 12-13 after headliners HALFORD pulled out of the event due to circumstances "beyond their control".

GAMMA RAY have already announced a replacement gig for October 12th in Zaragossa, Spain, where they will be the featured headliners at the local town festival on a bill that will also include appearances by DORO and EDGUY, among others.
