MISFITS FIEND FEST Tour 2003: First Dates Announced

The first batch of dates for this summer's Misfits Fiend Fest tour have been announced. The trek will feature MISFITS, PROJECT 1950, THE DAMNED, THE DICKIES, AGNOSTIC FRONT, and BALZAC and will kick off on Jul 23 in Tempe, Arizona.

Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

Jul. 24 - San Diego, CA @ 4th & B
Jul. 25 - San Francisco, CA @ Avalon Ballroom
Jul. 26 - Ventura, CA @ Ventura Theatre
Jul. 27 - Anaheim, CA @ The Grove Of Anaheim
Jul. 29 - Portland, OR: Crystal Ballroom
Jul. 30 - Boise, ID @ The Big Easy
Aug. 01 - Denver, CO @ Ogden Theatre
Aug. 03 - Omaha, NE @ Sokol Auditorium
Aug. 07 - Mt Clemens, MI @ Emerald Theatre
Aug. 09 - Chicago, IL @ The Vic Theatre
Aug. 11 - Mobile, AL @ The Temple
Aug. 13 - Miami, FL @ Miami Arena
Aug. 23 - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium

The event will be headlined by the MISFITS all-star lineup of founding member Jerry Only, with special guests Marky Ramone (of the world-famous RAMONES) and Dez Cadena (of BLACK FLAG). PROJECT 1950, a MISFITS side-project showcasing punk covers of '50s-era classics, are set to issue their debut CD in conjunction with the festival kick-off. You can expect a full dose of MISFITS classics (both past and present), plus selected RAMONES and BLACK FLAG cuts included in the live set. Some cities may also find occasional surprise guests (schedules permitting).
