Launch Radio Networks reports: With web sites like YouTube and MySpace coming to the forefront last year as places to promote music, and 2007 likely to continue that trend, PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix told Launch that he still thinks the best way to experience a rock band is up close and in person. "The best way for somebody to fall in love with a rock 'n' roll band is to go see that band live," he said. "Like, yeah, check 'em out on the Internet, but, you know, you're not really gonna get what a rock 'n'roll band is about until you see that band live. I think that that's one of our best attributes is our live show, you know, so I encourage anybody out there. You know, it's like, come be part of what we do live, that social experience is like, you know, you can't download that experience and that's the beauty about live rock 'n'roll, you know."
PAPA ROACH will begin a tour of the Pacific Northwest and Canada on January 23 in Eugene, Oregon. Following that, PAPA ROACH will head overseas before returning to put together a new U.S. package tour in March.
The California-based band is supporting its fourth major label album, "The Paramour Sessions", which came out in September.
PAPA ROACH will be the musical guests on this Friday's (January 5) edition of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". The band will perform "Forever", the latest single from "The Paramour Sessions".
