UNCHAINED: Single To Precede Full-Length Debut

Swedish melodic metallers UNCHAINED will be issuing a new single, "My Guide", prior to the release of their self-titled debut. The single will contain the title cut, a newly recorded track called "Open Your Eyes", an alternate version of "Like The Candle", plus a pre-production version of "My Guide".

UNCHAINED's self-titled debut album is scheduled for release on January 28, 2005 via Sound Riot Records. A January 21 Japanese/South Asian release via Marquee Avalon is expected.

The CD was recorded at Pama Studios (KARMAKANIC, THE FLOWER KINGS) in Sweden and mastered at Digital Fabriken (DESTINY, RAUNCHY, TRANSPORT LEAGUE). Artwork was handled by ProgArt (KOTIPELTO, EVERGREY, LOST HORIZON).

"Unchained", which features LOCOMOTIVE BREATH's Mattias Osbäck on bass and backing vocals, is being described in an official press release as "true masterpiece … rich in melodies, arrangements and ideas."
