Legendary Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen performed the U.S. national anthem before last night's Miami Marlins game at Marlins Park.
Video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
This was the second time Malmsteen performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the Marlins, having previously played the song in August 2011. The Miami Marlins even honored Malmsteen with his own jersey. The presentation took place in November 2011 when the South Florida Major League Baseball team celebrated its rebirth with a full-on fiesta at its Little Havana home, unveiling its new name and blinding new colors for high-powered VIPs and local media.
Malmsteen has just released his autobiography entitled "Relentless: The Memoir" via Wiley.
