"Impaled Upon The Tongue Of Sathan", the new video from BELPHEGOR, can be viewed at Bloody-Disgusting.com. The clip was shot and edited this past October by director Alexander Koenig in Abtenau, Austria.
In keeping with the concept of BELPHEGOR's forthcoming "Blood Magick Necromance" album, the crew went through over 60 liters of fresh blood within two nights of shooting. Smashing all oppressive morals with anti-Christian sentiment, the band presents a raw look at depraved blood rites which celebrate the liberation of man through death.
Commented BELPHEGOR bassist Serpenth: "The clip aims to strip down the viewer's psyche with an onslaught of sadistic sex, musick and magick. The ritual action caught on tape was also inspired in part by the world famous works of Viennese Actionists such as Hermann Nitsch and Gunter Brus. Rachael Kozak took over the role of the possessed Sukkubus. As Pro-Domina she was perfect and totally into the role. The blood cut deeper than any drug. The process of such an intense shoot served as a cathartic experience for all involved, making what went on behind the scenes just as important as the final outcome of the visuals."
