EYEHATEGOD Seek New Label Home

New Orleans sludge kings EYEHATEGOD are currently on the lookout for a new label following a split with Century Media Records.

"In the southern regional front, the band most responsible for causing inner ear infection stocks to soar, EYEHATEGOD, are finally seriously shopping for a new label deal," EYEHATEGOD frontman Mike Williams told Terrorizer. "After taking it slow and steady and returning from the UK from Morrowfest and a short tour with LABRAT, EHG are ready to start wheeling and dealing with the biz, since floating around after departure with Century Media."

In related news, Mike added: "While [EYEHATEGOD guitarist] Jim Bower is still fulfilling DOWN duties, myself, [drummer] Joey [LaCaze] and former bassist Marc [Schultz] have formed OUTLAW ORDER, described as a more hardcore punk styling of the southern sound. The EHG comparisons will be inevitable and probably aren't entirely unfounded, however the group is shooting (no pun intended) for a year 2003 BLACK FLAG/POISON IDEA infusion and are also on the search for labels and tours."
